POWER PLAY AMERICAN BULLDOGS OF MINNESOTA Welcome to Power Play American Bulldogs of Minnesota.
We have always been interested in American Bulldogs. We started to research & talk with breeders around the country in hopes of finding one. In 1996, we found our first American Bulldog. It was a long & hard journey as we did not have any local breeders. Finding American Bulldog puppies has been a challenge in the past here in Minnesota. We have purchased dogs from Connecticut - Kentucky - Wisconsin - Minnesota - etc. Because of our love & interest in the breed, we started a breeding program, so we could provide other American Bulldog lovers in our area the opportunity to find a puppy. We love their happy, loving personalities. They are a joy to have around & could not imagine life without one. Our dogs are a part of our family. They are big - bully - gentle - caring - protective - active - well socialized dogs. We selected our dogs carefully, so we could ensure that they would have the qualities that we like in our American Bulldogs. We do not recommend this breed for the first time dog owner. Anyone who has ever owned an American Bulldog knows that this is not a breed for everyone. They are strong willed & that they think for themselves. This is one of the traits that makes this dog breed so wonderful, but it requires the dog owner to be the pack leader.
